Skyros: Town Skyros

Linaria Village : Linaria is a fishing village in the western coast of Skyros situated 10 km from the capital town Chora. It is the main port in the island and the key tourist route is through sea. There is also a regular bus service from this village to Chora town.

There is always a strong wind blowing in the bay but Linaria is placed somewhat beside the hilly terrain safely away from the wind. There are many concrete houses and buildings fairly scattered around the harbor.
