 The transportations on the island of Skyros are pretty difficult because most of the roads are narrow and dirt. On the other hand, the public means of transport are not very comfortable. There are buses to connect Skyros town to Molos and Magazia, but there are no buses to smaller villages or remote beaches.
The rest of the itineraries are covered by taxi or private car. However, you should know that taxis do not always accept to take you to remote places of the island because of the dirt roads. That is why you will probably need a rented motorbike |
