Skyros Beaches: Magazia beach in Skyros Greece Magazia beach: Well equipped with all the modern amenities, Magazia beach is found within a ten-minute walk down the hill from Skyros town, where a long stairway brings you to its dark sand. As it is the main beach of the only main town on the island, Chora, it can get rather crowded in the high summer season. With lovely beachfront taverns the beach is hotspot for bathing and basking. The 800 meter long beach stretches to the nearby village of Molos. The beach offers different types of hotels which provides tourist not only with an opportunity to enjoy their stay in Greece but also arranges different water sport activities. The beach has coral reef just off its coast due to which the waves are pretty high in the area.
