The beaches of Skyros are known for their crystal waters and the marvelous landscape that surrounds them. Most of these beaches are difficult to access by public transport and they usually do not get crowded, not even in summer.

Location: 4 km north of Skyros Town
Description: Molos is the most popular and best organized beach of the island. The beach is long and sandy and the surrounding environment is very picturesque.
Location: 18 km west of Skyros Town
Description: The beach is dotted with rocks along the water and provides a good place to swim. There are a few trees nearby, but few tourist amenities.
Location: 13 km south west of Skyros Town
Description: This lovely area has white sand and pebbled seashore. A dirt road leads there and the surrounding green region creates a picturesque spot to relax.

Description: Pefkos is a scenic beach surrounded by lush grenery. The amazing landscape and the crystal water create a great place to relax.

Description: The soft golden sand and the clean, crystal blue waters attract lot of visitors here. A number of spacious cafeterias and snack bars are available close to the beach.

Description: This lovely beach offers much calmness to its visitors. The myth says that from this beach Achilles departed to take part in the War of Troy.
Location: 16 km north west of Skyros Town
Description: This narrow coast, surrounded by huge rocks, has fine sand and crystal water. It is located on the northern side of the island, close to the airport.

Description: This sandy beach doesn't offer many amenities to its visitors, except for a few taverns at the seaside. It is located on the way from the capital to the port.

Description: This is a nice beach that gets busy due to its closeness to the port of Skyros, Linaria.
Location: 7 km north of Skyros Town
Description: This is a sandy beach a bit diificult to access. A dirt road goes there and the spot is great to enjoy total privacy.
