Skopelos: Town Skopelos

Skopelos Town beach: The beach of Skopelos town is placed near the ferry quay. This is a modern section that concentrates many accommodation options, as well as the taverns and the nightlife of the island. However, the beach itself does not look very appealing, as it has some pollution signs, mainly because of its closeness to the port. In addition, it has pebbles of all sizes and it is not very well reputed when it comes to swimming. However, one good reason to visit the beach is the ruins of the ancient temple of Asklepios, just 200m to the east of the port.
