Stayed at the Ionia in July 2011. Very nice small hotel, at the back of town in a quiet location but only 10 mins walk to the harbour. Made very welcome by friendly owners and staff. Good breakfast with nice choice. Great pool. Would have no hestitation in recommending it to family and friends.
Thanks for a lovely holiday - hope to return one day soon. |

Two lovely relaxing weeks spent at the Ionia hotel. Very clean hotel Yanni-never stops sweeping!! Friendly staff. Good continental breakfast. Quiet pool area and bar. Skopelos town is only 10 minutes stroll and has lots of places to eat but not all good! The Grill next to international bar was by far the best greek salad and moussaka.
Would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay and chill out!! |
Great week. |

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Ionia in Skopelos, room 233, (2 July - 16 July 2010) and have to say what a lovely experience it was. The staff, from the cleaners and pool guy to the reception and bar staff were all really helpful and friendly. The hotel and pool are realy nice, and the position is only 5 mins away from the harbour front, shops and bars. Highly recommended.

We are so looking forward to arriving at The Ionia on Tuesday 8th June. We are praying that the volcanic ash cloud allows to depart this time! Room 132 sounds fantastic!
