It was our 3rd visit to Skiathos this year. Wherever we go for holidays in Greece every year, we make sure to spend 3-4 days on this gorgeous island!! This time we stayed in a hotel close to Vromolimnos. The hotel was in dense pine forest and we used to go trekking every morning and then go to the beach. We didn't rent a car this summer because we had done it the two previous times and had already seen all Skiathos. Actually, it is a very small island and doesn't have many things to see, expect for the house of a literature man (don't remember the name) in the town and a couple of monasteries around it. This year, we just stayed in Vromolimnos to swim and relax, which is what we needed to do!
Skiathos is a wonderful place to relax and swim in fabulous beaches. Beach bars make the atmosphere more lively and fun.
