I saw some pictures of Skiathos in a brochure and liked the landscape. That is why I chose this island to go for my summer holidays. In fact, it is a great mix of modern cosmopolitan and old Greek style surrounding. People are very friendly and the whole island has some stunning views. The nightlife was exactly what I was looking for: some great little pubs in the old quarter. I also loved the food, especially the fish dishes. I never had a bad meal on Skiathos and the prices were very good.
