The trip: I arrived on Skiathos by plane with Excel Airways. The trip was very good with no delays.
Reasons for going to Skiathos: We had visited many islands before and wanted to try Skiathos
Idea about Skiathos before arriving: We only knew what we had found on the net. We could anticipate a lot as we have visited Greece many times

- Beaches and Waters : 10/10 Great sea and beaches
- Cleanliness : 10/10 No litter at all anywhere!!
- Villages : 10/10 Some very pretty indeed
- Main Town : 10/10 Everything in easy walking distance
- Food/Restaurants : 8/10 A bit 'same' everywhere
- Nightlife : 8/10
- Local People : 10/10
- Accommodations : 10/10
- Activities : 10/10
- Excursions : 10/10
- Sightseeing : 10/10
- Prices : 10/10
- Public Transportations : 10/10
- Authenticity : 10/10
- Peace and quiet : 10/10
- Weather : 8/10 We had several thunderstorms
- Best Beaches: Koukounaries without a doubt
- Best Activity: Renting a 4-wheeler and exploring the island
- Best Bar/Pub/Club: Too many to list
Anything negative about skiathos or needs improvement: Nothing that I can think of.
Recommendations:You can see most of Skiathos island very easily if you hire a car for a few days. Getting to places is easy and traffic is light weather is usually good but beware of thunder
Rate of the overall quality/organization/services of this island/area in comparison with other countries: 10/10.
