Location: On the eastern side of the island
Description: The capital of Skiathos is built amphitheatrically around a windless bay. Surrounded by pine trees, Skiathos Town distinguishes for its traditional architecture and the vivid nightlife.

Description: Koukounaries is among the largest and most popular beaches on Skiathos. Surrounded by an amazing pine forest, this beach is great to relax.

Description: Lalaria is an amazing area of sea caves and wild rocks that can be visited by boat from Skiathos Town.
Location: 13 km south west of Skiathos Town
Description: Banana is a sandy beach in close distance to Koukounaries, on the western side of the island. Some nudism is practised in certain parts of this beach.

Description: This is an organized beach with fine sand and crystal water, offering a wide range of water sports.

Description: The sandy beach of Agia Paraskevi gets very busy due to its natural beauty and the organized facilities, among which many beach bars and watersports centres.

Description: Among the most popular and organized beaches of Skiathos, Vromolimnos gets very busy in summer. The green ambience creates a nice spot to relax.

Bourtzi is a tiny peninsula at the entrance of the port that divides it in two district parts. A fortress was built there in the 13th century to protect the town, however tody only few ruins survive. This is a popular place for rest and recreation, full of pine trees.
This museum was the home of Alexandros Papadiamantis, an important Greek writer, who lived there in the 19th century. Located in Skiathos Town, this museum has personal items of the writer and many folklore pieces.
The Castle of Skiathos is located on the northern side of the island, accessible by boat or through a track path. This is a former Medieval town, built on a rocky cliff. In the area, there are remains of old structures such as churches, walls, baths and many more.
The sea caves on the northern side of Skiathos can be reached by tour boats from the Town. The landscape is wild and the water is crystal there.
