Skiathos: Glyfoneri Skiathos

Glyfoneri beach: Glyfoneri is a small cove with sand and small pebbles situated just 5 km east of Skiathos Town. It is surrounded by high hills with sparse bushes and vast greenery. It is not an organized beach, thus make sure you bring the necessary things with you. The beach is narrow and small and it rarely gets frequented, even in summer. The light blue waters and the white sand create a unique environment. The closest tourist facilities are in Skiathos Town, where you can find many hotels and taverns. Glyfoneri is accessed through a track road, which is why it is not a known beach in Skiathos. Some people also go by boat.
