Welcome to the Island of Skiathos, Greece, Sporades
Skiathos Island
is part of the group called Sporades which is lying
to the north-east of Evia and to the east and south-east
of the Pelion Peninsula. Skiathos is the most touristy
and cosmopolitan island of the group and has many hotels
and touristy facilities. The island is famous for its beautiful
endless and sandy beaches boarded by dense and verdant
pine forest, coming down to the crystalline waters.

The
characteristic of the island of Skiathos Greece
is its wonderful beaches which are extending
on many kilometres and have golden sand and
mirror-like waters. All of those paradises
are surrounded by dense pine forest, descending
down to the sea. The most famous beach of
the island and even of Greece is called Koukounaries
and is a protected beach.
