Villa Christina Apartment Skiathos Vromolimnos

Villa Christina is located in the famous island of Skiathos, a mixture of myth and reality, 6 kilometres of the center of the island, built in a pine tree forest in a unique location next to well known beach of Vromolimnos. The location of the villas is ideal, due to the extremely short distance of every beach in the island! Dotted around the headland are a number of isolated sandy coves and beaches, some only accessible by boat. Villa Christina is set in its own walled grounds containing a good-sized swimming pool to the front and lawned gardens to the rear. There are 28 accommodation units here contained in various small blocks. Most are housed in the twin 3-storey buildings overlooking the garden or in the terraced bungalows to the side of the pool. Additionally there are three terraced garden studios, and two set back on their own behind the bungalows. Nearly all are slightly different in design but are cool and spacious with tasteful decor and high quality fixtures and furnishings throughout. The studios are mostly double-bedded and some can take an extra bed for a child. The two pool-bungalow studios have an interconnecting door and share a large common patio. The three garden studios are to one side of the lawn in front of the main building, away from the pool area. The 1-bedroomed apartments are all twin-bedded and possess a separate living room or kitchen/diner with two full-sized divan-beds for children. The two 4-bedroomed apartments are on the upper floors and have one double and one twin bedroom and a full-sized divan-bed in the living room. In Villa Christina, the attractive freshwater swimming pool is of a generous size (14m x 7m - depth 1m-3m) and furnished with sunloungers and umbrellas. Additional seating is dotted around the pool area and garden. There is a low-key pool bar to one side. Every year a weekly barbeque is arranged for guests. Villa Christina has wooded surroundings. A small road, leads you through the trees and down the hill to Vromolimnos beach in just 10 minutes. Vromolimnos is one of the best beaches on the island - sandy and long with no big hotel on it. It does, however, have a good taverna and a cafe-bar. Watersports can be had from the beach, and small motorboats can usually be hired for the day. Two or three other tavernas can be found on the main road a 15-20 minute walk from Villa Christina, as can a decent mini-market (note: will normally deliver for a minimum order of 15 €) and the bus stop to town, but car or bike hire is recommended for your convineince. Villa Christina is highly recommended for its peace and quiet, high standard of accommodation and beautiful surroundings.
