Koukounaries Skiathos: Koukounaries is the most famous and popular beach of Skiathos. It is situated on the western tip of the island and is the last bus stop, where the asphalted road finishes. It is a very long beach with fine white sand and emerald waters. Verdant and thick pine forest surrounds the beach and extends on the entire region; among this forest is a biotope. The beach owns its name to those beautiful pines (koukounaries means pine trees in Greek).
