Alonissos Transportations, Greece: Information about transportations in Alonissos

Alonissos has only one bus, only during summer, which regularly connects Patitiri to Old Alonissos.

An additional service departs from Old Alonissos (or Palio Horio) to Steni Vala, through Patitiri.

Several motorbike rental offices can be found in Patitiri.

Motorbikes are the best way to visit the island and its beautiful beaches, but the driver has to be very careful for the roads can be quite dangerous and slippery.

A few taxis are also available in Patitiri.

The taxi-boats leave regularly from Patitiri and serve some of the best beaches in the east coast as well as the uninhabited small island near Alonissos.

They are the easiest and more pleasant way to travel and visit the island and its amazing beaches.
