 Some
nice local handicrafts can be admired in a few shops
on Patitiri.
Local candies, sweets, wines and liquor can also be
finding in some shops.
The food in Alonissos is excellent due to the incredibly
high quality of the ingredients and products.
It is a must to go in one of the little traditional
taverns in Patitiri and taste one of the many delicious
imaginatively prepared fish dishes.
Mussels in cream sauce are another fantastic speciality
of Alonissos as is the “saganaki”, a local fried cheese.
Many other succulent mezzedes (appetizers) can be tasted
in Alonissos and constitute a real delight for the senses.
