General information

Marpounta Beach Alonissos: Located 3 kilometres from Patitiri, the capital of Alonissos, Marpounta is a beautiful beach and one of the most popular tourist resorts on the island. It consists of two nice organized beaches with clear waters and a rocky seafront. Some taverns are found at the back overlooking the crystal sea and the lush surrounding. A dirt path links Megalos Mourtias to Old Alonissos. The walk is lovely and takes about 20 minutes.

    Private Beach
    Private Beach? When we went to Marponda beach today we actually could not reach it as it was behind gates to a private area. Some sort of club. Disappointment.
