Spetses Beaches: Agia Marina beach in Spetses Greece
Spetses Agia Marina 01 Agia Marina Beach Spetses: Situated at 2 kilometres southeast of Dapia, the beach of Agia Marina is the island's most popular beach. It is overlooked by a small pink and white chapel of the same name which is surrounded by palm trees, pines and cypresses.

The beach is sandy and has a few metres of pebbles near the shore; it offers a wide range of water sports, umbrellas, sun beds, a beach bar and various nice taverns where one can enjoy some good food.

Agia Marina can be reached by taxi boat, by foot or with the local bus. Its high popularity and its proximity to the town cause it to be quite crowded, especially during high season. The earliest traces of human settling have been excavated in Agia Marina, such as clay vessels, figurines and ruins of a fortified wall, all dating back to the Early Bronze Age.
