Spetses Airport

Spetses does not have an airport. The International Airport of Athens, which receives both domestic and international flights, is the closest to the island.

To get from Athens to Spetses, travelers must first go to the port of Piraeus.
Ferries to Spetses are daily (yet become more frequent during summer) and the travel time is approximately 3 hours.
If you plan on visiting during the high season, consider scheduling your transfer from the airport to Piraeus in advance to save time. Alternatively, you can see how to get to Piraeus with the help of our up-to-date Athens Metro Map.

Ferries to Spetses also depart from two regions of the Peloponnese - Ermioni and Porto Heli. As Spetses is the island lying the closest to the coasts of the Peloponnese, the crossing is brief. More specifically, travel time from Porto Heli is around 10 minutes while from Ermioni 25 minutes.
