Poros is an island with developed tourist infrastructure. Most of the tourist facilities are found in the Town of Poros, but there are also other smaller villages that get pretty crowded in summer, such as Askeli and Neorio.

Location: On the southern side of the island
Description: Poros Town is the only real village of the island. It distingishes for its Neoclassical architecture and the lovely port. Poros is built amphitheatrically on the slopes of a hill and gives great views to the sea.
Location: 3 km north east of Poros Town
Description: Askeli is the busiest tourist spot on Poros. It has a long beach and mnay tourist facilities, while a bus frequently connects to the Town.
Location: Right opposite Poros Town
Description: Galatas is like the sister-town of Poros. It is located on the site of Pelponnese, right opposite the port of Poros. Frequent ferries connect each other.
Location: Northern side of the island
Description: Poros actually consists of two islands, Sferia and Kalavria, connected to each other with a small bridge. Kalavria is the largest of the two.
Location: 2 km north of Poros Town
Description: This is actually not a village but a tourist hamlet. It has many hotels, fish taverns and other facilities.
Location: 2 km north west of Poros Town
Description: This is a tourist hamlet between Poros Town and Neorio. It has some hotels and fish taverns along the road.
