Hydra is a good island for shopping, offering a wide range of shops scattered all around the capital, Hydra Town.

All kind of nice shops housed in lovely traditional houses can be found in the narrow whitewashed streets and alleys of the town; souvenir shops, fine jewelleries selling wonderful ancient and filigree jewellery, shops proposing traditional costumes and exceptional local embroideries, beautiful accessorises, clothes, shoes, picturesque pastry shops selling local delicacies, nice pottery and plenty of art galleries with works from international artists living on the island.
