Hydra Reviews -General

If you are keen on walking, do not miss Hydra since no vehicles are allowed! Except from one I think that cleans the garbage! When I came back home, I could not stand all this traffic jam. There the only think that I was aware were the donkeys and not to step on their poops!!!
During the day, Hydra belongs to day-trippers of Athens city but after evening it's all yours, relaxing, and you can walk all the way round the port with an ice cream on your hand as you listen to the music that comes from the local coffee spots with outdoor chairs and tables (take a glimpse at an old small bat that has been smartly converted to a couch even!)
Well as a disadvantage, there were not actually close or easy to access swimming beaches and some spots of the edge areas of the island were insufficient lighted but it so close to Piraeus that you can easily get back and go somewhere else.
Or you can simply take the hydrofoil to Porto Heli, Ermioni or Spetses which have pretty beaches to swim.
