Hydra Reviews -General

Hydra is a romantic island and I'd say it is mostly suitable for couples. I went there with my husband a couple of years ago. Fortunately, we hadn't taken our children with us because beaches are rocky and they could hurt. I was impressed that there were no vehicles on the island, not even motorbikes were allowed in the Town! We tried the horse carriage around the port but it felt like the old, romantic times! The only annoying thing was the horse... very smelly!! Generally Hydra was expensive, but you could find places to eat well. All taverns and cafes at the port were expensive, but there were small taverns in the alleys in the Town were prices were a bit lower. Check the menus before you enter a place but the restaurants just next door could be much cheaper.
