Location: On the northern side of the island
Description: Hydra Town is the capital and main port of the island. The elegant stone mansions and the lovely port make Hydra a picturesque and relaxing holiday destination.
Location: 1 km west of Hydra Town
Description: Kaminia is a small fishing port in close distance from Hydra Town. It has nice taverns at the waterfront and a calm beach.

Description: Vlichos is a lovely beach with pebbles and clean water. It is reached by taxi boat or on foot from Hydra Town.

Description: Kaminia is a small pebbled beach close to Hydra Town. Some delicious fish taverns and cafeterias line the coast.

The Museum of Historical Archives is located in an elegant stone mansion, at the port of Hydra Town. It houses manuscripts from the revolutionary period, paintings and ship models, rare books and other interesting exhibits.
These cannons were used for protection in the past. They surround the port of Hydra and serve as reminders of a glorious past.
This is the first Merchant Marine Academy that operated in Greece. It is housed in Tsamadou Mansion, on a hill overlooking the port and the whole village.
