The beaches of Hydra are mostly pebbled but they have picturesque ambience. Excursion boats depart from the port and make the tour of the island, stopping at many beaches along the way.

Description: Vlichos is a lovely beach with pebbles and clean water. It is reached by taxi boat or on foot from Hydra Town.

Description: Kaminia is a small pebbled beach close to Hydra Town. Some delicious fish taverns and cafeterias line the coast.

Description: Hydronetta is a rocky coast in a walking distance from Hydra Town. A lovely cafeteria can be found above the beach with excellent view to the sea.

Description: Spilia is a lovely place in a walking distance from Hydra Town. It is not a beach, but actually rocks that people dive from.

Description: Agios Nikolaos is a remote, pebbled beach that can be reached either on foot or by boat from Hydra Town.
Location: On the western side of the island
Description: Bitsi is a tiny cove popular with diving and other water sports. The coast is pebbled and the water is clean.
Location: 4 km south east of Hydra Town
Description: This is a lovely, pebbled bay that doesn't get crowded at all. To go there, visitors either take a taxi boat or trek across the mainland of the island.

Description: Mandraki is a lovely beach in close distance from Hydra Town. It is organized with sunbeds, umbrellas and many watersports centres.
Location: On the western side of Hydra Town
Description: Molos can be reached by taxi-boat or on foot from Hydra Town. It is a lovely, calm beach to relax.
