 Agistri Island is a pine-covered island lying in the heart of the Saronic Gulf. It is located near Aegina Island and is well connected to it and the port of Piraeus, which makes it a favourite destination for the week-ends.
Agistri consists of three main settlements; the capital, Megalochori, also called Mylos, Skala village, which is the main tourist resort and port of the island, and the traditional settlement of Limenaria.
