More about: Aegina island
We were looking for a peaceful place for our holidays and we found Aegina. It is close to Athens ( one hour and a half by boat) and that is the reason why we have chose it.
We felt in love with the pictoresque port and the welcoming town with its magnificent neoclassical constructions. We stayed in a lovely seaside village called Perdika where we relaxed, ate many good things and took night walks on the pedestrian waterfront esplanade of the village.
Aegina also has an intersting archeological site called the Temple of Aphaia, which is surrounded by many pine trees.
We were very happy of our stay and was a nice break from the busy Athens.
