Autumn is also very pleasant for visiting the island, the days are still sunny and clear and the temperatures quite mild.
Aegina has the driest climate of all the islands of the Saronic Gulf and water is provided from wells and springs. Some times it has to be carried from the mainland of Greece by special water boats.
