The Archaeological Museum

Founded in 1829, the Archaeological Museum of Aegina was the first museum to be established in the entire Greece.

Temple of Apollo
 
From the ancient 5th century temple dedicated to Apollo, god of light and true, only a Doric column remains, proudly standing on the Hill of Kolona (column in Greek).

It is one of the most complete archaeological temples of Greece, consisting of various arrays of columns and lintels in a very good condition.

Christos Kapralos Museum

Christos Capralos was a Greek sculptor, born in 1909 in Panaitolio, a village near Agrinio. He studied (1929-34) painting in the Athens School of Fine Arts and sculpture (1934-40) in the Grande Chaumiere and Colsrossi Academies.
