There was an amazing church in the middle of the island somewhere. We found it by luck and happened to stop by at a whim and I am so happy we did. It was very empty because it was January. There were few tourists and the monks there seemed so calm and peaceful. I couldn't remember its name but I saw in photos in your site that it was Saint Nektarios.
Shopping on Aegina was pretty neat, a lot of cool jewerly. As it was off season, only a couple of gift shops were open in Town. The food was mostly bland, except for the sausages, those were amazing! The family restaurants that were less crowded had great owners. They were very accommodating and made special orders. They also gave us free wine. People seem to take a longer time to eat than in America. They seemed surprised when we left after 2 hours.
