Aegina Reviews -General

I wanted to go to Aegina to visit the monastery of Agios Nektarios. This was the main reason. I had been to the island some years before and found that little has changed. Of course, we enjoyed the beaches a lot. We tried to stay away from the crowded town beach. The restaurants in Aegina port town were nothing spectacular and they basically all served the same thing. We did enjoy the outdoor cinema, the horse and buggy ride from the water-front and the water park. The only thing that needs improvement is the chaos of getting on and off the ferries!
