More about: Aegina island
There was an amazing church in the middle of the island somewhere. We found it by luck and happened to stop by at a whim and I am so happy we did. It was very empty because it was January. There were few tourists. The shopping was pretty neat--a lot of cool jewelry.
The food was mostly bland, except for the sausages--those were amazing! The family restaurants that were less-crowded had great owners. They were very accomodating and made special orders. They also gave us free wine. People seem to take a longer time to eat than in America. They seemed surprised when we left after 2 hours.
