WE HAVE NOW BEEN TO POTOS 4 TIMES, USUALLY 2/3 YEARS APART. WE WENT LAST YEAR AND ARE GOING BACK AGAIN AT THE END OF MAY. THE BEST BAR IS ANONYM-GEORGE AND THEO ARE THE BEST. THE GOOD RESTAURANTS ARE THE GARDENS, POSIEDEN AND THE ONE WITH THE BOAT(CAN'T REMEMBER NAME)ON THE PROM. VERY NICE PLACE, LOVELY PEOPLE. THEY WILL KNOW YOU AGAIN...TAKE FOOTBALL SCARFS TO GEO/THEO, AND TELL THEM GORDON...

Very good place for relaxation, but there should be more restaurants(taverns). There are many cafes and bars, but only a few places where you can have an Ouzo and dinner. ;) Food in General is OK. There are 1-2 good taverns on the coast, and another one within the village. The bars are fine, but nothing different from anywhere. We enjoyed eating and drinking, and exploring beauties of the island. We tried many local specialities and would not stop if the holiday was longer. Mutton, fish, anything was delicious. Thassos is a terrific place. It has everything: mountain, sea and a lively nightlife. Let the kids home and took the wife for a relaxing week.
We bathed, we tanned, we walked in forests and mountains and we ate and drunk a lot of good things. We had a room in the capital, Limenas, from where there is a sandy beach with all the things you need.
My wife spend a lot of hours shopping...

Because I found a very good offer for Thassos I took my little family and we flew to Greece.
The place was great and the hotel fine. A lot of other British were in the same hotel we were feeling at home. The beach near the hotel was great with a lot of facilities, places to eat and drink all around and a lot of sea sports for the kids.
