I had the best meal on Galissas, grilled fresh fish especially cooked by Mr Giannis with green peppers, onion and oreganum. I couldn't stop tasting my figures. The beach of Finikas was excellent and so bright. Now that I am back, I miss those lasy days laying on my sun bed in Finikas, under the hot Greek sun. Ermoupolis is the most beautiful town on Syros. I loved the big, impressive buildings inspired by the Greek antiquity, with those tall columns and many floors. I love windsurfing and the only beach proper to practise it on Syros is Galissas. Of course, it gets very popular but if you go early in the morning or late in the evening, it is less crowded and you will not fear to harm someone while on your board.
