Ermoupolis had very few things in common with the towns in other islands. Except for the big port and the gift shops, it didn't have the blue and white colours of Cyclades. The beach of Finikas was excellent and so bright. Now that I am back, I miss those lasy days laying on my sun bed in Finikas, under the hot Greek sun. Ermoupolis is the most beautiful town on Syros. I loved the big, impressive buildings inspired by the Greek antiquity, with those tall columns and many floors.
