Villages: Tourist village but traditional

Last year at the end of season we stayed at Nidri, a beautiful fishing village in Lefkada. The hotel offered lovely views to the harbor and the streets were full of tourists. You will find plenty of waterfront restaurants serving the best fish food and the surrounding atmosphere will captivate you. Beaches: Gorgeous

A gorgeous beach! Not that impressive as Porto Katsiki and Egremni, but still gorgeous! Waves are not that strong compared to the previous beaches, so it is a good beach for family. So large in length that no matter how many swimmers, it will never be crowded! Above Kathisma, there is a nice pool bar, but couldn't stop wondering why people go to the pool when the beach is at their feet?

Beaches: Best place for windsurf

The best beach for windsurfing. Do not bother bring your board, there are plenty of shops to rent all the equipment. Best time to surf: in the afternoon, around 2 to 4. You will love this place!

General: Dream island with wonderful people

Cleaning the island is lacking, you can not destroy what is beautiful with piles of garbage! It is disgusting to see garbage. I must confess that this island is something incredibly wonderful, but on the garbage can destroy this image. Authority should be stronger in those who pollute sanctions. Leaves much to be desired and roads are bad, and very little parking and undeveloped.
