We stayed at the Marina Anna apartments for 1 week in September. The apartments are simply furnished but spotlessly clean. Both the kitchen and bathroom bins were emptied every day. We had a studio on the top floor and the views over the bay were wonderful. We would certainly stay at the Marina Anna apartments again.

We have eaten at the Koyzina Taverna since they opened their restaurant - 3 years ago. The taverna is run by the owners, Stelios and Denise, who always make you feel very welcome. The tradional Greek food they serve is excellent.

I spent my holydays in Kefalonia at Diona studios: only 50 meters or less from the beach! The rooms have a/c, very usefull kitchen and bathroom with shower, and a small pretty balcony. We stayed at Assos a few days and we visited 3 tavernas. The best is Nefeli-Anait restaurant on the central beach. The best restaurant view is from North-Assos restaurant. Some days they have live music.

We liked: Amazing bay view from our room window, daily room cleaning, a friendly hotel owner. Breakfast terrace also has an amazing view. You can bring your own food for breakfast.
What we didn't like: Strip ceiling, old plumbing equipment, leakage marks on the walls.

In Kefalonia, we stayed in a small hotel in Skala and enjoyed the nice calm beaches in the area. Skala was very beautiful and had some great views and beaches. Shops were as expected, tourist items.
