Halkidiki is so big that you can't see all of it in a week or two. We have been there three times and still we discover new amazing places to see. You definitely need a cat to get around. Pefkohori is a nice place, although a bit overcrowded in July. I personally prefer quieter beaches, like Pagliouri where there is also a camping site, if you like nature. The taverns by the beach were great and their prices normal. The only problem was that there were not enough parking places in most villages of Halkidiki.

Halkidiki is like heaven! For me, it has the best beaches and landscapes in northern Greece. Sithonia is a fantastic area.
