My experience form Donoussa was about three summers ago. We actually spend a week in Naxos and 3 days on Donoussa, as the island is only 1 hour by ferry from Naxos. As it was June, Donoussa was almost empty. You could see only a few inhabitants in the coffee shops in the village and a couple of foreigners laying on the sandy beach close to the port. I stayed at the Studios in July 2007. I would recommend the location, the owner of the studios are very kind and the location is peaceful and very close to the beach.
