What I enjoyed most in Arachova was the traditional recipes I tasted. There, you will find all kind of pies, from the traditional cheese and vegetable pies to zucchini and meat pies with a lot of spices. Another excellent fish recipe is Brigiani, having haddock and vegetables as its main ingredients. Also definitely try formaella, a kind of cheese that is only made in Arachova. You will love it...

General: Famous for Parnassos Ski Centre

Arachova is a mostly known because of the Parnassos Ski Centre. We go there very often in winter because my son is a skier and takes part in championships. It is a picturesque town with beautiful houses and many sights to see. It is easy to go to Delphi from Arachova and to many nice monasteries. The monstery of Osios Loukas is my favourite. I love its shape.

I really love Arachova. I know this place since my childhood as my parents were taking me for skiing there. The little village is really beautiful.
