I was in Messenia to visit Koroni, Finikounda, Pylos and more locations in june 2007. So i was looking for a nice hotel, just for one night to stay. Although not in the heart of Fira, Caldera Lilium is a short flat walk from Fira in the opposite direction from Oia. The accommodation is sited on the edge of the caldera without the many steps as found in Fira and Oia. Caldera Lilium staff are wonderful and very obliging. Mykonos: Stay at one of the beaches

If you are a family, stay at one of the beaches. Try to get a hotel on the beach. Mykonos is hilly, and your hotel, just 200 m from the beach, could be 200m almost straight up a hill. Kosmoplaz Hotel was on the beach with really pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms were clean, the a/c worked well, and there was plenty of hot water.

Brilliant accommodation- 402. Clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Maid service was excellent- Ilda you are a wee peach thought I would take you back to Scotland. I was in hotel Mediteranee, in Lassi, 2km from Argostoli, from 26.07-06.08.2007 It's beatiful, comfort, rooms are clean. I was in room with sea view, it's was something most beatiful in my life. Hotel have swimming pool, beach, restaurant, cafes, night cafe.. Peoples who work in hotel are nice, they will help you in everything..

I stayed at the Studios in July 2007. I would recommend the location, the owner of the studios are very kind and the location is peaceful and very close to the beach.

Tinos Island is a barren rock. The two days I spent there the islands was subject to terrible winds that drove stinging sand into my skin. The water was beautiful, the beach is rocky and if you want to use the beach chairs you'll have to pay a fee. The Tinos Beach Hotel was nice enough, but it's a mile and a half from the main town and when the bus stops running it's either a taxi or walk back....
