Porto Heli town: Porto Heli is a small village in the prefecture of Argolida, eastern Peloponnese, about 200 km from Athens and 85 km from Nafplion, the capital of the prefecture.

Porto Heli village is built around a small, natural cove that provides a great shelter for ships. You will see many fishing boats and yachts moored in the harbour of Porto Heli in summer, as the place is a popular summer destination.
 
In winter, Porto Heli is rather remore, but in summer it gets very busy with tourists that flow there. The tourism development of Porto Heli started in the 1980s, when the Athenians bought land in the area and built summer houses. Today, you will find many comfortable tourism amenities there.

Porto Heli village is surrounded by many nice beaches. The main beach is long and sandy and has many watersports facilities. For some more quiet, there are a lot of small coves in the area with green ambience and crystal water.
