Many churches are found around Porto Heli, on the eastern side of Peloponnese. The only church inside the town is found close to the port.
In the surrounding area, you will find many lovely chapels. On top of a hill about 4 km from Porto Heli, you will find the lovely church of Agios Emilianos.

A famous Byzantine monastery is Panagia Pantanassa close to Kranidi village, 7 km from Porto Heli.
Close to Kranidi, you can also visit the monastery of Agia Anna and the chapel of Holy Trinity, dating from the 13th century B.C. and having many valuable frescoes of that time. |

In Costa, another village, 12 km from Porto Heli, you can visit the chapel of Agios Demetrius, found in an area of lush greenery and offering nice views. |
