The Folklore ‘Laografiko’ Museum displays more than 20000 items mainly of regional art, traditional costumes, embroidered and woven articles, implements and utensils as well as old-city maps. A small shop on the 2nd floor sells items like CDs of local music, books, calendars etc.

Some other interesting museums are the Children’s museum and the Komboloi Museum.
The Komboloi Museum has a collection of about 1000 worry beads from the 18th to the 20th century. These beads are made of amber, seashells, corals and crystals.
The shop in the museum allows visitors to buy replicas of these beads. |
