 Nafplion is one of the most charismatic cities in the Peloponnese region with a rich history dating back to antiquity. It has played an important role throughout history including before and after the War of Independence. Nafplion was also the first captal of Independent Greece. The area of Nafplio has several historical sites of interest that reflect the many influences that this town has had in its long past.

The city of Nafplio has an active nightlife. Though there are clubs and bars that stay open until the early ours of the morning, the serenity of the city is not disturbed at all. Nafplio has to offer an abundance of restaurants, cafes, clubs, and bars. The visitor is sure to find plenty of things to do whether it’s to take a quiet walk along the seaside, or listening to a live performance of traditional Rembetiko music at a tavern or bar, or dancing to the modern rhythms and beats of our time in one of the clubs in town.
