Mystras Tourism

The historical town of Mystras receives many visitors who travel in Peloponnese. The famous fortified town is a living museum itself including various Byzantine castles, amazing churches, and beautiful spots. The modern village of Mystras is equally interesting to see lying on a beautiful spot, on the slopes of a hill. There are many facilities there and tourists are urged to explore the rest of the area. Over the last years, tourism in Mystras is gradually developing in terms of agriculture. There is no tourism office or tourist police in Mystras. The closest police station is found in the town of Sparti.
