The church of Crysafitissa in Monemvasia: The church of Panagia Chrysafitissa is located near the edge of the Monemvasia town on Peloponnese. Panagia Chrysafitissa was constructed in the 17th century and is still in use even today.
The churchyard is the only open space there; however it is not very large. A part of the church-building has a dome-shaped roof. The most remarkable thing about the church is that its building looks spotlessly clean. |
