Messenia Review:
Finikounda is a very unique and charming small village situated towards the western area of the Peloponnese. It is situated just
off the highway between Methoni and Koroni. It has large sand and shingle beaches, about a dozen tavernas, a few small shops and a bakery within the larger supermarket behind the church. It is a popular holiday resort for the Greeks themselves but as yet it gets only a small number of tourists from other countries so it is ideal for a peaceful holiday.
Your holiday in Finikounda will not be complete until you have visited the restaurant of Antonios Giannoukakis situated behind the church.
