The church of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity) is the protector of the city and its celebration (40 days after Easter) is a public holiday for the town. The church of Holy Trinity is found in the Old Town and it was built on the ruins of an ancient temple.
The Monastery of Panagia Katsimikana is located 9 km north of Kyparissia, amidst lush greenery. It is not known when the monastery was exactly constructed, but many items dating from the 19th century can be seen inside.

Church Of Agios Athanasios
The beautiful church of Agios Athanasios is located at the entrance to the city of Kyparissia. It is a clean church with modern architecture, which is laid with brown stone. The architecture of Agios Athanasios blends the modern style with the local cultural one, creating a wonderful contemporary style church.

Housed in a traditional mansion in Ano Poli, beneath the Castle of Kyparissia, this Folklore Museum hosts traditional material, costumes and old photos from the region. In summer, it organizes seminars, lectures and exhibitions.

Located on a hill above the town, this Castle was built in the Byzantine times on the site of an ancient acropolis. Now it stands almost in ruins but it offers great views to Kyparissia.
At a distance of 8 km north east of Kyparissia, the site of Peristeria was excavated in 1960 and many important Mycenaen findings have been uncovered, such as vaulted graves, palaces and residences.
