:: Ancient site of Peristeria

The archaeological site of Peristeria is located 8 km norhtwest of Kyparissia and deserves a special mention. It was first excavated by the Greek professor Marinatos in 1960. The ancient settlement that Peristeria host dates back to Early Mycenaean era, which means around the 17th and the 18th century BC. You will find very interesting the ancient tombs from this era you will discover at this site.
