With its past rooted deep in prehistoric and even mythical times, Kyparissia is found at the foot of Egaleo Mountain, with the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea raining its coasts. It is also know as the "Double town", since it is separated in the Upper town (Ano Poli) with the traditional houses and the paved alleys and the Down town(Kato Poli), the administrative and economic center with the modern buildings.
