Gythio Town Village
Location: In the prefecture of Laconia
Description: This small seaside town gets very lively in summer because many tourists come to spend their holidays. The trademark of Gythio is Kranae islet, which is connected to the mainland through a narrow strech of land.

Location: 2 km south of Gythio
Description: This is the most crowded and organized beach close to Gythio. It has a lot of tourist facilities and different kind of watersports.

Gythio Selinitsa Beach
Location: 2 km north of Gythio
Description: This beach is famous for the rusty ship that lies ashore. Note that the caretta-caretta sea turtle goes there in summer to lay its eggs.

Location: 14 km south west of Gythio
Description: Ageranos is a nice long beach with crystal water. It gets pretty popular in summer.

Gythio Historical Museum
The Historical and Ethnological Museum of Mani is housed in Tzanetakis Tower on Kranae islet and its items inform us on the long history and tradition of Mani. The tower has three floors and the first one hosts the observations of some Western travelers on Mani.

The historical lighthouse of Gythio is located at the edge of Kranae islet, which is connected to the mainland through a pathway.

Gythio Ancient Theatre
Located on a hill above the town, the ancient theatre of Gythio was originally built in the Roman times. In summer, it hosts many cultural events and festivals.
